Natty Light In Space
How amazing is this?
On November 18, 2011 Natty Light officially became The First Beer In Space.
Two of Natty Lights Facebook fans, Danny and Rich, came to us with an epic idea to make Natty the first beer in space. We said go for it, just let us know when ya shoot it off! Natty Light helped make their dream a reality, by offering to support there efforts on Natty's Facebook page. On Nov. 16, 2011 The spacecraft was named the Aluminum Fullcan by Natty's Facebook Fans (submitted by Kal Thomas).

Check out the Chin on the Tank site for more great photos of the Philly Cafe Racer scene.

Fed Loans Revealed
Here's former Congressman from Florida, Alan Grayson, on the story of the year.
Yesterday, Bloomberg News released a stunning article explaining the extent of Federal Reserve "loans" during the crash of '08.
This article could literally unite The Tea Party with Occupy Wall Street.
And hopefully it will... x

Doomtree
Brand new single from Minneapolis hip hop All-Stars, the Doomtree collective.
There are so many solid MCs in this crew that nobody stands out in this group effort.
From the presses, "Today marks the release their new album No Kings. The title of the record is both a call for rebellion and respect: Obey no kings, seek no thrones."
As much as I love Jay and Kanye, this is raw, straight from the underground. Real talk.
You can stream the full album on AOL, Spinner, or MSN, and watch "Bolt Cutter" video at Alternative Press.
Turn up your speakers for this joint. x
Vasquez Sounds
I keep wanting to say how adorable these two are... but that just won't do.

Huge thanks to my buddy Danny G for the clip. x
Penguin Prison
THIS is my new jam.
Brilliant use of the Occupy Wall Street protests.
Penguin Prison is hot like Chromeo, but tight like Hall & Oates.
Straight-the-fuck-up dance party, but for those crazy liberal elites. x
Freedom
So, this must be the freedom that our brothers and sisters are dying to defend in the Middle East.
For shame any protester acting unnecessarily aggressive toward a police officer just trying to do their job during this movement. You will be arrested and you make us all look bad.
But to any police officer using unwarranted force against a peaceful protest in this country, you are a disgrace to your badge and an abomination to your code.
Keep it peaceful, keep it non-violent. Keep if real. Fight the power.
Pepper-sprayed protester, Elizabeth Nichols, from The Oregonian:
Nichols said a policewoman jabbed her in the ribs with a baton and pressed it against her throat. That made her angry.
She yelled at the officer, saying she was being mistreated. That's when another officer shot her with pepper spray. A photo by The Oregonian's Randy L. Rasmussen, which flashed across social media websites, shows Nichols was sprayed from a few feet away.
"It felt like my face, ears and hands were on fire," she said.
Dear Santa
As some of you know, I am not a fan of Christmas.
Therefore, I typically loathe any music played during this festive season.
But, I just found the first exception to my very strict rule of NO XMAS MUSIC...
Jay Brannan just released this outstanding holiday song, "Dear Santa"
Occupy Love
Charles Eisenstein has perfectly articulated the Occupy Wall Street movement.
And in the process, he has put what this movement means to me, into words that can be easily understood.
No matter what side of the aisle you're on, please take a minute to watch this.
And please do so with an open heart and an open mind.
Occupy Love. x
Steve McQueen Triumph Bonneville
The new Steve McQueen Triumph Bonneville. I need one. I need one so, so badly... x
From Cyril Huze:
Since 1902, Triumph has been producing distinctive motorcycles celebrated for their style and engineering. Through the 50′s and 60′s, names such as Steve McQueen and Marlon Brando cemented the Triumph legend. In 1991, Triumph was reborn remaining true to its heritage. And because the Steve McQueen’s name continues to sell motorcycles, Triumph is releasing a Special Edition limited to just 1100 bikes carrying his name.
Each of them will be delivered (price to be announced) in matt khaki Green paint job, Steve McQueen’s signature on the side covers, a solo seat, blacked out headlamp, luggage rack, wheel rims, hubs, handlebars, rear springs, mirrors, and mudguard supports, and arrived individually numbered, with a plaque on the handlebar clamp and a certificate of authenticity.

By way of Canada, he is bringing that dirty rock sound back with a vengeance.
I've been cranking "Black Eyes" - and all of his others - at my desk all morning. x
Michael Kiwanuka
What a beautiful song...
British songwriter, Michael Kiwanuka, is onto something with this one.
"Home Again" sounds like a love child of Otis Redding and Ben Harper, in my humble opinion.
Thanks to my boy Nicky G for the recommendation. Outstanding.

Thanks to Twitter, I stumbled on this comrade from New Jersey, Mr. Zak Smith and his band.

Stipe, Eno, & Colbert
You have to be a madman, or a right-wing nutjob, to hate on Mr. Stephen Colbert.
And you will be missing out on his consistently hilarious musical guest appearances.

Enjoy. x
1980 Honda CB750
This 1980 Honda CB750 is two years younger than my baby girl, but a whole lot sexier...
As always, from the best custom motorcycle blog on the interwebs, Bike EXIF:
Whenever I see a Honda CB750 in the metal, I’m always surprised at how big it is. In photographs, Honda’s iconic inline four always seems slim and sleek. So I’d love to throw a leg over this 1980 CB750 KZ, the latest custom from Cafe Racer Dreams. Nicknamed “Brownie”, it’s a CB750 on a diet. The Spanish builder’s changes are relatively small and conservative, but well-judged—this is the second bike they’ve modified in this style, and it’s becoming a signature look. Power gets a boost from Keihin carbs, free-flowing filters and a custom exhaust system. At the back are Hagon shocks, and up front are Renthal Ultra Low bars.
The electrics have been simplified and the ignition key unit has been relocated to underneath the tank on the right-hand side. That supremely glossy tank is a stock item, cut down, and of course the side covers have gone: the battery is now hidden away in a small custom-made aluminum box. It’s this new space under the custom seat that’s helped the CB750 to shed a lot of visual weight. The brown, gold and black color scheme is low-key but luxurious, like a fine piece of leatherwork. I’m sold, but unfortunately, so is this bike. Check out the stylish Cafe Racer Dreams website for more of these gorgeous machines.
