I got my hippie groove on with my brother, Brett, this week at Jones Beach.
Phish performed an incredible two sets of classics and newbies.
It was an amazing performance, but sadly marred by a tragedy.
During set break (Phish plays two sets of music every night) some kid dove off the upper deck into the mezzanine.
Unfortunately, my brother and I were in that section and experienced it rather closely.
I was on Matt Pinfield's morning show on 101.9 WXRP today discussing the incident.
Hands-down one of the most fucked up experiences of my life... and definitely the biggest buzzkill.
I'm assuming the band was not informed of it, because they came out and launched into an epic 2nd set.
