Last night I finished this book, Evening's Empire, by Bill Flanagan.
It was a gift from my loving Mother.
For you music geeks out there, this is an absolute must-read.
Flanagan is an MTV and VH1 executive and frequent contributor to RollingStone, GQ, and other magazines. I had no idea he was a novelist until I received this book in the mail.
And I couldn't put it down.
This is the best fictional music story I have ever read. It's about a manager of a 60s British invasion group and his lifelong relationship to the band.
Outstanding.
Any suggestions on what to read next?
