The custom bike scene in LA is incredible. Obviously, I knew nothing about it until I got here. But now I am regularly blown away by the projects I see around town. This is beyond a hobby. It's a full blown obsession.
And now I get it. I'm hooked. I've got the bug.
I've started small, basic. From choppin her up and bobbin her out, to changin the oil, spark plugs, lights, fuses, chains. But the more I learn, the more fascinated I become. And now that old 78 has become a project of mine.
This photo above has given me the most inspiration. My favorite custom bike blog, Bike EXIF, posted this beauty last week. I had an idea of what I wanted to do. Especially blacking out most of the body, engine, exhaust, and wheels. But this, this is a work of art.
